The weather shield located in the mast of the SolOceans one-design - April 1st, 2009
The weather shield (Young) located under the radar (Furuno) will protect the temperature and air humidity probe (Rotronic). Some laboratory tests will be first run by Vinciane Unger and her team from METEO FRANCE and it will then be installed. The support of the shield was made by SailingOne Carbon fusion workshop at Saint Philibert (Brittany - France) following METEO FRANCE instructions and recommendations. Once tested, this OceanoScientific equipment will be fitted on each unit of the SolOceans one-design series.
