A week after the start of her pit stop at Port-La-Forêt, the SolOceans One-design (16 metres / 52.2 feet) steered by Liz Wardley was relaunched this morning. This afternoon sailing session is dedicated to restarting the scientific equipment on board. On Thursday and Friday, the sailing sessions will be dedicated to preparing this new start towards the Southern Hemisphere. Liz Wardley will resume her navigation on the Around-the-world Reference Tour of the SolOceans - OceanoScientific® Campaign 2009-2010 on Saturday 12 December at 1.00pm sharp (1200 UT). She will cross a start line located at the Linuen Buoy, off the Beg-Meil semaphore, outside the Bay of Concarneau (Brittany - France). A moderate East - Northeast breeze is forecasted. Liz Wardley might then be able to quickly leave the Bay of Biscay.
