Bostik is sailing in Northern Europe

The first unit of the Veolia Oceans® one-design series was put back into the water in Caen on the 12th June and set sail on Wednesday 18 June for a promotional tour in Northern Europe, with port of call in the Netherlands, in Germany and in Sweden, before going back to Normandy during the first days of July. She will then set sail on Sunday 6 July at 3.30pm on the mythical transatlantic line: Cherbourg - New York City. Charles Caudrelier is back at the helm, with Yann Clavier as Boat Captain. On the programme, delivery journey with media representatives and with European skippers who like to be on the starting line of the SolOceans, with its first start scheduled on 25 October 2009 at Caen. After a return journey across the Atlantic, Bostik will spend two weeks in La Trinité-sur-Mer (France) at the end of August - beginning of September, where the Veolia Oceans® one-design will be presented for the first time to the French skippers, after sailing more than 20,000 nautical miles which allowed the one-design spirit to be defined in the slightest details.
