Second of the Route de l'Equateur on board the Class 40 Deep Blue, second of the Valencia 12 M JI regatta on Ikra and eighth of the Calais Round Britain Race on board the Open 60 Roxy in 2007. Fourth of the Défi SNSM on the Open 60 Roxy in 2006.

Phil Paxton - Canada
Born in United Kingdom on the 8th February 1954
First crossing of the English Channel at the age of 11. He then crossed the Atlantic, the Pacific and the Indian Oceans. Two Laser World Championships.
After sailing through a hurricane off the Australian coast, he decided that his personal gaol was going to be circumnavigating the world single-handed thanks to the SolOceans.

Since then he has, in turns, prepared oceanic race monohulls or sailed around the world as delivery skipper.

Skipper of the monohull Sojasun. Winner of the Rolex Sydney-Hobart 1999, crew-member on board Amer Sports Two in the Volvo Ocean Race 2001-2002, fourth of the Trophée BPE Belle-Ile - Marie Galante single handed-race 2007 behind Charles Caudrelier (Bostik).
