Soloceans one-design technical data


The SolOceans one-design was imagined by Yvan Griboval. Michel Desjoyeaux took part to her definition. Jean-Marie Finot and Pascal Conq have designed this new monohull for a round-the-world tour. Then Erwan Tabarly developed her off Cherbourg. Charles Caudrelier and Liz Wardley tested her between Caen (France) and Wellington (New Zealand) during their 54 days of navigation over 14,000 nautical miles (26,000 km), with half the voyage in the Roaring Forties and the Furious Fifties.
